Returning to one of the themes dear to the gallery, the group show "ABITARE IL TEMPO" aims to explore five different visions related to the concept of "ideal space." In his reflections on this theme, inspired by Rousseau, Marco Menin* writes: "The multiple relationships between human beings and their surroundings imply a reciprocal influence: while the external space inevitably acts on our sensory perception, our individuality can profoundly and decisively influence the objective perception of the external world." He continues, "Such a space must present precise characteristics that reflect the complexity of inner life, thus leading to a perfect coincidence between interiority and exteriority." Based on these premises, the exhibition brings together the works of five artists*, ranging from painting, sculpture, drawing and installation. Alessandra Ghiazza through painting and drawing creates geometric spaces where essential modules and forms alternate repeatedly, blending memories, memories and geographical distances. Her internalized urban and natural landscapes are observed through a window that represents the artist's point of view.
Loris Mauerhofer explores themes such as family, the cyclical nature of life and interpersonal relationships primarily through sculpture. His works evoke familiary but elusive places, transporting us to a dreamlike, interior dimension and inviting us to a personal and silent contemplation that makes us reflect on our concept of "home."
