Spending time with physical objects reveals a certain intimacy that transgresses the boundary between the hand-crafted and the industrial. It is the acknowledgement of this inherent intimacy that provides the foundation for my work.

A sense of longing is what drives my practice, often referring to the body and its experiences. This involves various embodied processes such as casting, molding and other material negotiations. I am intersted in navigating the border between sculpture and object. Through material and composition I explore the interplay between permanence and ephemerality, the tension between escapist fantasy and reality.

Rather than confrontation, I seek to offer a space of curiosity to enable personal contemplation. In a state of intuitive play, I combine found objects with self-created elements to craft poetic perspectives on social life and spatial surroundings, focusing on a sense of care in dealing with fundamental questions that connect us all.
